In the iron category the Srixon ZX7 dominated again this year and was our best selling iron. We sold over 50 sets of these this year. Again in 2023 we did a lot of combo sets, especially with the ZX7 and ZX5. The newly released Miura KM-700 was our second most popular iron of 2023 which is a testament to how good our customer base is; as well as just how good these irons are. The KM-700 took Katsuhiro Miura 5 years to perfect, given a full year of sales in our opinion these would have been our best selling iron of the 2023. They are surprisingly forgiving for a blade iron and we are sure they will continue to be a popular iron in our lineup for years to come. Finally the new Miura CB-302 was our 3rd most popular iron of 2023. These are an incredibly forgiving forged iron and we sold lots of combo sets with these and the KM-700 and MC-502.
The Srixon ZX Utility was our best selling Utility Iron again in 2023. These are available with both graphite or steel shafts and are our go to for a driving iron recommendation.
A three peat for Srixon Golf, the Cleveland RTX 6 Raw wedge was our most popular wedge of 2023, just like the RTX Raw was in 2022. We sold over 100 of these gorgeous wedges in 2023, they are an incredible wedge with a loft and bounce option for everyone. Our second best selling wedge was the Miura HB Raw. Then finally our 3rd best selling wedge was the NCW Smoothie raw wedge which are hand ground by Jeff McCoy. As always everything from Peoples Golf comes custom built in house with the shaft, ferrule and grip of your choice. With stamping, paint fill and custom grinds available for a small up-charge.
The Fujikura Ventus TR Blue continued to dominate our shaft sales, another back to back win for the team at Fujikura. These not only dominated our sales in 23 (we sold 500+ of these in 2023) but they dominated on tour as well. The entire Ventus lineup has been extremely popular and we are excited to see what they come out with next. No surprise here, our second best selling shaft of the year was the Fujikura Ventus TR Red, these were extremely popular with our customer base in fairway builds. Our 3rd best selling shaft of 2023 was the OG Fujikura Ventus Black. Honorable mention, the Graphite Design VF, we wouldn't be surprised to see the VF in our top selling shafts of 2024, they have been our most popular shaft ever since they were released late last year…
For a second year in a row the Fujikura Ventus hybrid was our best selling hybrid shaft. The new Graphite Design HY was our second best selling hybrid in 2023, they have been very popular the past few months. Followed by the Nippon GOST shaft, which is a very stiff and unique profile mixing both graphite and steel.
The newly released Fujikura Axiom iron shaft was a real winner for us, over 50% of our iron builds this year have been with an Axiom iron shaft, in fact we sold well over 500 of them and the feedback has been incredible. We woudlnt be surprised to see Fujikura expand upon the Axiom lineup this year with some taper tip options and hopefully a 125 Stiff. Our second most popular iron shaft was the Fujikura Pro followed by another top 3 finish for the Tour Issue Dynamic Gold 120 steel shaft.
The LA Golf SOHO shaft was our best selling putter shaft of 2023, the summer launch of the .390 shaft for our Scotty users helped the SOHO narrowly pass the Stability. The BGT Stability continues to be a great seller for us, in particular the gorgeous Cobalt option that was launched this past year. Our best selling driver of 2023 was the Callaway Paradym, the triple diamond was the best performer for the majority of our customers. Once again this year the Paradym also came in a tour only S model that was very popular for us. Our second best selling driver was the Titleist TSR. In a close 3rd was the Ping G430. These are incredibly forgiving and the LST was a very popular for our experienced customer base.
The Titleist TSR was our best selling fairway in 2023. Followed by the Ping G430 which was mostly fueled by the summer launch of the LST. Finally the Callaway Paradym was our 3rd best selling fairway wood in 2023.
A new category for 2023 is our most popular ferrule, surprising even us over 80% of our builds in 2023 featured a custom ferrule from Boyd Blade and Ferrule Co. Our number 1 ferrule was the white lightning we sold over 350 of these this past year. Second was the gorgeous Serape which we just added to our 2024 Ferrule lineup. Finally Balglove was our 3rd best selling ferrule of 2023.
