Callaway golf never ceases to amaze us and with the new line of Rogue Drivers and Fairways that we have in stock, they have certainly done it again. Just when we thought they couldn’t do better than the Epic, one of the best drivers ever, Callaway Golf has raised the bar yet again and created The Rogue. Building on the revolutionary design concept of The Epic, Callaway Golf has added features never-before-seen to completely supercharge the driver to create the Rouge, giving golfers incredible ball speed and forgiveness.
The Rogue is specifically crafted for exceptional ball speed from the Jailbreak Effect. The Jailbreak Technology was enhanced for Callaway’s newest driver and now features new, hourglass-shaped titanium bars that are lighter, but still able to fulfill their intended function of stiffing the crown and sole. The driver’s stiffer body allows the face to take on more impact load, optimizing ball speed.
This year’s driver’s new head shape is ideal for golfers who crave distance but also want forgiveness and push/fade avoidance. Continuing what Callaway is known for, the Rouge uses carbon composite materials in the metalwoods and utilizes proprietary Triaxial Carbon Crown that is exceptionally light and strong. The materials save substantial weight, which has been redistributed into the perimeter of the head to extraordinarily increase MOI and forgiveness. The new head shape and additional forgiveness is one of the biggest differences between last year’s Epic and this year’s Rouge. Going bigger and better, the Rogue has the largest Triaxial Carbon Crown Callaway has ever been utilized in a driver, so it has a much larger footprint than Epic.
Like all products offered by TPC, The Rouge is tested and approved by our staff. But don’t take our word for it, as this new driver has already been proven on tour. Because this driver is specifically engineered with every level of player in mind, everyone from high-handicappers to the pros can find something about it they love and just can’t live without. The rogue driver has been getting a ton of play this year both on and off tour.
