VA Composites is the newest creation from famed shaft designer Victor Afable.  With over 30 years experience in the golf business Victor is most well known for Oban shafts.  He helped Oban golf shafts grow to one of the top shaft manufacturing companies.  He’s now moved on and created VA Composites which is based in Pinehurst, North Carolina.

The first shaft that he designed was the Raijin. Made from Japanese 40T carbon fiber pre-preg, Raijin is billed as a versatile, mid-launch shaft that offers low spin due to its stiffer tip section.  The Raijin immediately picked up play on tour and was used by Alejandro Cañizare en route to a T3 finish at the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

Their next shaft is the Slay, the SLAY features a multi-material design made with the industries most exotic materials from Japan. By utilizing these materials, VA Composites is able to offer the most advanced and versatile shafts in golf. SLAY’s unique design fits a wide variety of golfers and is offered in various weights and torques ranging from 55 grams to 85 grams. SLAY boasts high launch and low spin playing characteristics allowing golfers to achieve tighter dispersion and more distance. VA Composites is redefining the golf shaft and we are taking performance to an entirely new level!

They also have a Slay Black that will be released early next year.  For some pictures on it see VA Composites Instagram account.  We are also offering 10% off any VA Shaft for a limited time only, enter the code VA to use.  Also be sure to check out some more information below.
