New to our inventory, the Callaway TCB Irons are the same tools Callaway Staffer Jon Rahm used to win the 2021 U.S. Open Championship. The Apex TCB Irons are specifically designed for Tour players and elite golfers and are precision-engineered for forged performance, shot-making, and control in a Tour-inspired forged 1025 players cavity back.
Apex TCB is engineered with Tour Tuned face plates to promote extremely precise distance control, and consistent performance across the face, while also designed with a classic look with a straighter leading edge, thin top line, and a smooth hosel transition. Apex TCB Irons have a more compact shape with less offset than the X Forged CB Irons. The internal tungsten promotes optimal shot-making, ball flight, and control for scoring performance through the set and with the customization of the internal and external MIM’d tungsten weighting — golfers can locate the CG in each iron with extraordinary precision.
The Apex TCB irons are sleek with a petite, beautiful profile. The profile is slimmer than the Pro and it is slightly less offset as well. While the profile is slimmer, the iron is still able to retain the classic styling of an Apex iron with the addition of hte back plate on the sole.
In terms of launch and spin, the Apex TCB tends to be mid/low on both counts. The sleek design also boasts an adequate spin to hold a green or work a shot, but the Apex TCB has a bit more of that modern focus on lower spin and distance.
