Titleist has unveiled its latest lineup of drivers for 2024, introducing the GT series: GT2, GT3, and GT4. Each model is meticulously engineered to cater to distinct golfer profiles, ensuring optimal performance across various skill levels and preferences.
Innovative Design and Technology
At the heart of the GT series is the groundbreaking Seamless Thermoform Crown, constructed from a Proprietary Matrix Polymer (PMP). This ultra-light material allows for precise mass distribution within the clubhead, enhancing both speed and stability. The seamless integration of the crown with the sole not only provides a sleek appearance but also contributes to improved aerodynamics, reducing drag and increasing clubhead speed.
Additionally, the GT drivers feature a Speed Ring with Variable Face Thickness (VFT). This design focuses on maximizing ball speed across the face, ensuring consistent performance even on off-center hits. The combination of these technologies results in drivers that are faster, longer, and more forgiving than their predecessors.
Model Breakdown
-
GT2: Speed and Forgiveness
The GT2 driver is tailored for golfers seeking a high launch with low spin, offering maximum forgiveness. Its design includes a single rear weight and a longer front-to-back profile, providing a higher Moment of Inertia (MOI) for enhanced stability. The traditional pear-shaped head inspires confidence at address, making it ideal for players who may not consistently strike the center of the clubface but still desire impressive ball speed and distance.
Technical Specifications:
-
Loft Options: 8.0°, 9.0°, 10.0°, 11.0°
-
Lie Angle: 58.5°
-
Head Size: 460cc
-
Standard Length: 45.5 inches
-

-
GT3: Adjustability and Control
For golfers who prefer fine-tuning their driver settings, the GT3 offers extensive adjustability. It features an Adjustable CG Track positioned closer to the face, allowing players to select from five center of gravity (CG) positions (H2, H1, N, T1, T2). This adjustability enables golfers to align the CG with their impact tendencies, optimizing ball flight and control. The GT3 maintains a high launch with slightly lower spin compared to the GT2, catering to players who consistently find the center of the face and seek customizable performance.

GT4: Low Spin and Workability
The GT4 is designed for golfers aiming to reduce spin rates, particularly those experiencing spin above 3,000 RPM, which can lead to distance loss. With a compact 430cc head, the GT4 offers a mid-launch with the lowest spin characteristics among the GT series. It includes front and back weight ports, allowing players to adjust spin reduction by positioning the 11-gram and 3-gram weights accordingly. This model is ideal for players with faster swing speeds who require a penetrating ball flight and greater workability.
